Bellpepper in Mainz

Always delicious! Service friendly and attentive, but a bit impersonal - may be due to the Cov situation ...

We were once again able to spend a wonderful evening with friends at the Bellpepper. Only recently we celebrated our son's 30th birthday here and everything went well, as always. Great service, very courteous, friendly and even when it is very full, still a personal word in between. The food was delicious, the meat tender and to the point. It was a great evening in a nice atmosphere and we enjoy it every time anew!

The food is always a delight for us, the open kitchen gives a special ambience. Here you can feel the first-class training of the service. Even if it's expensive, I'm happy to be here for special occasions.

Extremely professional staff and great cuisine.

It was our first time here and we were very satisfied. Very nice atmosphere right on the Rhine promenade. The service was great and the food was great. The open kitchen is also great. It is very interesting to watch the cooks at work. I found the drink prices a bit excessive. 9 € for a normal bottle of mineral water is a lot. But otherwise highly recommended.

Great food, service was very rare and forgot or mixed up some things

Very enjoyable and the food was excellent as always. The staff are also very friendly and do their best to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We've been coming here for years and have always enjoyed it. Due to covid19, the wellness area has restrictions in place. The steam-room and whirlpool are closed for that reason but that's life at the moment.

A wonderful atmosphere in Mainz. The Hyatt with its Bellpepper restaurant has once again convinced us with its dishes! The kitchen has once again proven that for me it is one of the best in Mainz! Great location, great service and quality of the food always fit. Wine list is also consistent. The brunch here is also excellent. If you are looking for a "crumb": the card could be designed a little more often.

Very tasty food nice terrace overlooking the Rhine .. Prices were quite high. But food quality is good. Well and modest card.

At the Bellpepper I have tried and experienced everything from the wedding day to a simple lunch, the company Christmas party and a cooking class in the in-house show kitchen and I was thrilled every time. The service is excellent and the cuisine is a real treat. The fillet of beef is fried to the point, the salad dressings are delicious and fish or vegetarian dishes are always cleverly put together and served. In short - 5 stars for exquisite cuisine in a wonderful atmosphere.

I absolutely love coming here. The food is always superb; a merry of flavors that dance on the palate. The Hyatt Burger is one of the best burgers in Germany! I also recommend the steak - always perfectly cooked. Very innovative dishes, especially now that the menu is limited. The staff is super. They make you feel at home and like a regular. During the summer, I love sitting outside to watch the people along the Rhein. You won’t go wrong with popping in for lunch or dinner!

We had lunch with our parents in the Bellpepper this afternoon. We have had gourmet membership for years, but due to our love of food, we always go to other upscale restaurants. The Bellpepper remains one of the best places we know. The ambience (whether inside or outside on the terrace) never wears out for us. The food is ALWAYS of a very high standard and the service is friendly, helpful and attentive. In this context, I would like to particularly emphasize Ms. Schmidt. She served me over a year ago and still knew exactly what I like to drink and what I value. Incredible...!

Beautiful restaurant inside the Hyatt hotel, facing the river Rhine. Breakfast buffet was great. A good selection of fine foods, eggs prepared on order, hot drinks, juices and champagne. Dinner was very fancy too. Fabulous food cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The service was excellent as well, very friendly and yet professional. Good selection of drinks and wine pairing. A wonderful restaurant.

Breakfast was amazing

Very nice place to eat, a variety of breakfast choices hot and cold, at least 5 different juices, a selection of teas, cheese and wonderfully made bread rolls that is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff are also pleasant and helpful. One of the best👍👍👍

The Bellpepper is certainly to be understood as upscale cuisine. Whether breakfast or dinner, what they bring to their plates is worth the money. Cooked and prepared before the eyes of the guests, this means live cooking and makes the whole looser in the otherwise stiffer atmosphere for the kind of hotel. The service staff could have a bit more experience, but are always very polite and always pleasant present, so 5 star with air up.

Quality restaurant associated with the Hyatt hotel. The food is very good although it is quite expensive. A good place to celebrate something because the atmosphere is cozy and romantic. The portions could be somewhat larger. I loved the dessert

During breakfast time, we were being disturbed by the fierce sunlight from around 9am, as we are group of 10 of us were having breakfast there, at the sofa area with a long table by the window side. Since we are in the big group, no more table as big as that can be moved. Eventually, we had no choice had to finish the breakfast asap as our eyes cannot stand the fierce sunlight also. Therefore, strongly suggest the hotel to install the curtain.

This restaurant claimed that the avocado was very fresh, and the small holes marked were natural. They either had very exotic avocados or they LIED.

staff are social dorks for a large part. pricey, but not crazy expensive. adjacent bar is more friendly. Café ist neat, though cakes are not amazing

This place has an expensive but worth it buffet for brunch on Sunday. They also have great cocktails.

Elegant setting, that's true. But the food isn't really all that fantastic. Exceptional service, but we unfortunately weren't treated as well as I had expected.

Good food however need to wait long time the dishes...

Very long waiting times. Over two hours for the daily menu. But it's great if you want to have a nice chat without time pressure. The food is great once you get it.

Stayed here several times whil doing business in the area. Good service, nice location, cosy rooms, comfortable bed, good food.
